Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information DropRadar (“we”, “us”) collects when you use DropRadar(the “Service”), how we use it and the choices you have. It applies to our website and to the alerts we send through Telegram. By using the Service you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: your email address, an optional name and a password (stored only as a cryptographic hash, never in plain text).
- Alert preferences: the keywords, categories, stores, sizes, price limits and other filters you set up.
- Telegram: if you connect Telegram, the numeric chat identifier Telegram assigns to the conversation with our bot. We do not receive your phone number.
- Billing: your membership status, plan and renewal date. Payments are handled by Stripe, which collects your card details directly; we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage: which deals you open through our links (so we can count clicks and apply affiliate links), pages visited, and standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) kept for security.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service: show you deals, send the alerts you asked for, manage your membership and support requests.
- To process payments and prevent fraud, through Stripe.
- To improve the Service, for example by understanding which categories and stores people use most.
- To send you service messages such as payment receipts, renewal notices and changes to our terms. We do not send marketing emails unless you opt in.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. Cookies
We use a single strictly necessary cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Stripe may set its own cookies on its checkout pages for fraud prevention, as described in Stripe’s privacy policy.
4. Who we share information with
- Stripe (payment processing): your email and billing details.
- Telegram (alert delivery): the content of the alerts we send to your chat.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that store our data under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Third-party stores: when you click a deal you are taken to the store’s website, which has its own privacy policy. We pass no personal information to stores; affiliate links contain only an anonymous tracking code.
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertisers.
5. Data retention
We keep your account data while your account exists. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except for billing records we must keep for tax and accounting purposes (typically 7 years) and logs kept for security for up to 12 months.
6. Security
We protect your information with encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you as required by law.
7. Your rights and choices
You can view and update your alerts and membership from your account, disconnect Telegram at any time, and cancel your membership from the billing portal. You may also ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information by emailing support@droppradar.com; we respond within 45 days.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request its deletion or correction, to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither) and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Submit requests to support@droppradar.com. Residents of other U.S. states with privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas or Oregon) have similar rights and may use the same contact. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of sale or sharing.
8. Children
The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International users
The Service is operated from and intended for users in the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with its date and notify you of material changes by email or through the Service.
